In order to promote the development of environmental safety in Hexi Petrochemical Zone, based on capacity building and scientific management, and adhering to the principles of "scientific design, step-by-step promotion, joint cooperation, and resource sharing", and the concept of people-oriented and safe development, the environmental management department and Hexi Petrochemical Zone enterprises work together to promote the construction of the atmospheric automatic monitoring system in Hexi Petrochemical Zone.
According to the preliminary research results, the existing atmospheric automatic monitoring stations in Hexi Petrochemical Zone and after the completion of the first phase of construction by Sinopec Maoming Branch are mainly concentrated in the refinery area, lacking monitoring of the atmosphere in residential areas outside the site. In order to ensure the reasonable distribution and effective management of the atmospheric automatic monitoring system in Hexi Petrochemical Zone, and to ensure the coordinated analysis and application of monitoring data, it is necessary to build a relatively complete atmospheric automatic monitoring system.
The Ecology and Environment Bureau of Maoming City publicly tendered on the government procurement website, and the consortium of Guangdong Mingqin Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid to undertake the construction of a project with an investment of over 15 million yuan. Our company's project mainly includes the construction of station buildings (renovation), equipment installation and commissioning, and two-year operation and maintenance services for three monitoring points: 1 # monitoring point (City No.2 Super Comprehensive Station), 2 # monitoring point (Technician College Super Comprehensive Station), and 4 # monitoring point (Gaoling Warning Station). The construction of this project has formed an environmental management system that comprehensively monitors, scientifically warns, and quickly processes the Hexi Petrochemical Zone, comprehensively enhancing the environmental supervision capabilities of Maoming City. It provides long-term basic data and strong data support for handling air pollution complaints, making decisions on air pollution prevention and control, improving air environmental quality, and ensuring public health in Hexi Petrochemical Zone, thus improving the level of environmental management.
The distribution of the four monitoring sub stations in this project is shown in the following figure:
